What You’ll Do
-
Respond to high-altitude emergencies on Denali, including search and rescue missions in extreme weather and terrain.

Provide medical aid and evacuation support to injured or ill climbers in remote, life-threatening conditions.
​

Collaborate with the National Park Service and other partners to coordinate safe and efficient rescue operations.

Educate climbers and the public on mountain safety, preparedness, and responsible wilderness practices.

Maintain physical readiness and alpine rescue skills through rigorous training, teamwork, and ongoing development.

Serve as stewards of Denali’s environment, minimizing impact during rescue efforts and promoting conservation ethics.

How to Apply

Compile a comprehensive climbing resume that highlights your experience with glaciers, altitudes higher than 14,000', and expedition experience.

Write a cover letter that summarizes your experience. We prioritize volunteers with advanced medical experience, rigging experience, and 2nd language abilities.
